New York-based additive manufacturing workflow software providerLink3Dhas expanded itspartnership with EOS,德国3 d打印机OEM。在乔int machine connectivity program, the two partners are enhancing Link3D’s Production Scheduling software to help streamline the additive manufacturing process.
Additionally, Link3D has entered into a collaborationAutodeskto enable full traceability within additive manufacturing processes. Both partnerships will be unveiled to the public next weekFormnext 2019, at Hall 11.0 Booth F41.
Optimizing additive manufacturing workflows
Link3D and EOS commenced their partnership in 2018 which led to the integration of theAdditive Manufacturing Execution System(AMES) & Additive Workflow Software for EOS clients, thus accelerating 3D printing operations. With the new partnership expansion, the EOS systems using EOSCONNECT will be integrated with Link3D’s scheduling software for real-time and in-process monitoring of the build environment for production management purposes
As a result, EOS customers will now be able to track and trace in real-time all benchmark requests, scheduled jobs, machine setup and post-production quality data across EOS sites in Krailling and Novi, USA. “Our machine connectivity program with EOS will enhance Link3D’s Production Scheduling software,” stated Vishal Singh, Co-Founder & CTO of Link3D.
“With real-time monitoring, EOS customers can perform real-time capacity planning. To add, In-process monitoring integrated with quality management systems will help businesses automate the validation of fixed workflow process requirements across EOS production systems.”
Shane Fox, Co-founder and CEO of Link3D, added, “EOS has a rich and deep history in the additive manufacturing space, and Link3D is proud to have been selected as their internal workflow and MES solution.
“The collaboration will enhance Link3D’s software technology around series production for AM. Together Link3D and EOS will deliver optimal workflow and MES capabilities to our current and future customer base.”
Autodesk, Link3D and AMFG
In a further announcement, Link3D confirmed that it would be collaborating withaward-winning3D software company Autodesk. Together the partners will integrate a new workflow that connects Link3D Additive MES bidirectionally into Fusion 360 andNetfabb. This will be used in downstream production processes to manually alter and fully control the data preparation.
Alexander Oster, Director Additive Manufacturing at Autodesk, commented, “By linking Autodesk’s comprehensive additive and subtractive manufacturing solutions with Link3D’s production scheduler, we are excited to help Link3D provide a managed workflow from order intake to post-processing on the shop floor.”
Earlier this week, EOS also partnered withAMFG, a London-based provider of workflow automation/MES software. This collaboration aims to enable streaming and connectivity for EOS machines through AMFG’sManufacturing Execution System(MES) software.
这些合作伙伴在Formnext也将展出2019. Autodesk can be found in Hall 12.0, Booth C59, and AMFG is located in Hall 12.1, Booth G81.
